On Aug. 9th we had our fifth of seven summer training hikes in our quest to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro in March 2015. This time around we hiked the Elk-Thurston Trail outside the city of  Chilliwack in the Fraser Valley. Mt. Kilimanjaro students have began their training hikes with hikes on the Diez Vistas Trail and part of the Baden Powell Trail. We are making these hikes available to interested individuals who would love to come out and support the youth on the hikes. We now have completed two of our seven training hikes for the summer. This time around we hiked the 13 km Diez Vistas Trail from Buntzen Lake recreation area.
